It starts somewhere in her mid twenties,
When you were born, and that young lady
Was awarded a salutation of 'Mother',
The most respected role,
Despite being the toughest, in this universe.
She forgo all her freedom and worldly pleasure,
Just for your undiluted smile.
Even how many times you pee'ed in nappies,
Still you can find those nappies somewhere under her pillow.
She let her interests take a back seat now,
Spending all her time for your upbringing,
To feed you and make you strong,
Still you always complain about the food and other stuffs.
She empties all her saving for your future
Even though she does not earn single pence.
What she had collected is now spent on you.
And you still complain, she does not give you enough.
Now she is in her 60's,
Her health is frail,
But still no one dare to mess with her
The strength she holds can't be deterred by growing age.
Have you ever seen her heart of gold?
Did you ever thought what made her to smile even in the pain?
When was the last time you appreciated her?
Was there a single moment when you have met her without guilt?
What did you did to a smile on her face?
Now she faces the pain of negligence,
And time disappears very fast,
Tell her something you always like to say,
Make her smile before it is too late,
You never know, when she will move to a new role,
And then even your own life will cease to exist peacefully.
